“Jacques could fit in your palm when he first came to our house. He and a sibling had been abandoned under a neighbor’s porch and our daughter Steph brought him home. Jacques was a world-class mouser and often presented his trophies to us, some dead and a few alive. He had a very long life and loved his dog, Lucy.”
