“Wilson enjoyed an interesting life of travel and adoration by family and human and canine friends. He was named after the soccer ball in the movie “Castaway.” He had a dog brother named Goat and he lived in Salina for most of his life where he enjoyed treats every time he went outside to go potty (and soon learned to go out and come right back in for a treat, skipping the potty part.) His brother didn’t talk much, so Wilson spoke for both of them, barking to ask to go out, or for treats. He traveled frequently to Edwards CO where he enjoyed walking in the mountains (he was a very good traveler). He had sadness in his life when his favorite human died and Goat moved to Florida. However, Wilson started a new chapter when he moved to Topeka and lived with a new dog companion, Pixie. They enjoyed their neighborhood walks together and of course, treats. He also enjoyed sleeping on the bed and made many new human friends. Wilson is loved and missed. He had a gentle spirit.”
