“Aspen-O was always involved in anything we did. She loved walks, even in the later part of her life as she rode in a wagon, just wanting to be with us. We rarely went on car rides without her beside us enjoying the view and fresh air. She watched numerous home projects…always the supervisor! A regular fur ball…no outfit was complete without her leaving a reminder she’s with us. She didn’t particularly love baths, but afterward shone like an angel. We loved when she’d burrow a nose into us, but then get up to show her independence, too. She was an active little girl,, and we miss her clicking paws letting us know just where she was. Aspen was so special to us, we had her blessed. But we were the blessed ones to have her in our lives to love.”
“There are so many things we already miss about her, but we know she is in Heaven with family and we will see her again someday. Take care Aspen-O. We miss you and feel blessed to have so many memories and pictures of you to remember you by. Run like the wind!”

“A poem for you our angel Aspen-O…”
WE ONLY WANTED YOU
They say memories are golden, well maybe that is true.
We never wanted memories, we only wanted you.
A million times we needed you, a million times we cried,
If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died.
In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still.
In our hearts you hold a place no one can ever fill.
If tears could build a stairway and heartache make a lane,
We’d walk the path to heaven and bring you back again.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same.
But as Spirit calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
